Established in January 2005 and in conjunction with FSA regulations, lets-cover has gone from strength to strength since launching its contemporary branding in October 2004. Subsequently, the business to consumer website was launched in October 2005 offering both landlords and tenants the facility to obtain an insurance quotation and incept a policy on-line for the first time.
As at 1st October 2007, there was a total of 12,577 lets-cover household insurance
policy holders, all enjoying the comprehensive cover each policy affords. For landlords, we offer both buildings and/or contents insurance for their let property (ies), with a 10% discount when both buildings and contents policies are selected. For tenants we offer contents insurance with the option of personal possessions cover.
All our policies are underwritten by AXA Insurance UK plc, one of the world’s largest insurance companies, a relationship that we have built up over many years.
